aww thank you for the pics...of course my favorite are the smiling shim pics any idea why all of a sudden they didn't allow cameras??? I think that if they are going to do stuff like that they need to make people aware of it before buying their ticket. Is it because of the blinding of lights? The use of the pics and videos online? This was my 3rd show and they allowed pics at the others two shows. The bands didn't even take any pictures. I think many if not all of us were pretty bummed about that.
That could have been the venue, actually. I know some venues are real sticklers for cameras and don't allow them no matter what the band says.
Hollee is correct! It's definitely not SP because they love seeing pics from the shows. House of Blues venues are like that. They carefully go through everything and then wand you down.

Shim taking off his shirt and jumping into the crowd.
I am such a mom. Reading that made me cringe, it scares the crap out of me when he does that.
If he had done that at my show, I would have held him up, not because I'd be touching his bare chest, but I'd be so terrified someone would drop him. Cringe again.

Not all of them though. I went to the Theory of a Deadman show last night at the HOB in Houston and they didn't care about cameras at all. Not sure if Dallas will be the same way but I thought it was weird because I had heard that all the HOBs were real stingy with cameras.

Yea and they try to have you check your camera and I heard that when people try to get them back that they aren't there or the mem cards would be missing, etc... When they told me that (with my waterproof camera that didn't have a flash so I wouldnt have been using it anyway) I was like no thanks and I walked back to my car.

wow...all I know is I had an awesome time..Just a little disappointed about the camera thing. Yeah you are right Sick Puppies love to take pics, so I'm sure it was one of the other bands or the venue pulling that crap.
Yeah dropping poor Shim Shim would not be a good thing He was just so pumped and full of energy it was a spur of the moment thing. He took his radio box thing off his pants...everyone was like what is he doing. Then he took his shirt off..of course everyone screamed. He had his back to me when he did. Then he just throws himself out to the crowd. I was like where is he and did he just do what I think he did? I was all the way up against the wall (much safer there) so I was a little ways away. Then seconds later I saw them pull him out of the crowd. Phew he was ok. He loves his "boys in the pit"
Ok I can't ramble anymore gotta go get ready for work...and gotta say my Let's Do This! haha This is Valentine's Week so long long hours ( I remembered to tell him this and told him that I blare Sick Puppies at my flower shop and Emma & Shim both looked up and gave me thumbs up that that is awesome. )

Awesome pictures! Yeah Higher Ground didnt allow them last year either. All pictures had to be done by that samsung rep...which was really lame.

tee hee... here's a clip from when they went bowling
Re: Burlington, VT - Higher Ground 6 February 2010
Yeah my sis had to point it out to me that he missed a pin as well. Does he seem drunk or just tired or possibly both. Something in his eyes tells me this
The other thing that I noticed is that people are bowling just 2 lanes down...so it looks like they didn't close down the bowling alley..If I could have gotten off work earlier I could have gone bowling w/them.. well sorta

^^That's on my list of things to do before I die: run down a strike at the bowling alley.
